The Pentel GraphGear 1000 is entirely made in metal with an aluminum slender body and a finely knurled metallic grip inlaid with soft, latex-free pads, offering a controlled and comfortable writing experience. The robust binder clip can securely attach to thick materials, ensuring your pencil is always within reach.
Automatic Lead Advancement Mechanism
With a simple press of the top button, the lead advances effortlessly as you write and provides a consistent flow until the lead is fully utilized.
Dual Action Retractor
The dual-action retractor mechanism allows you to extend the tip of the pencil when you press the top button. As you open the clip, the pencil tip retracts and disappears into barrel, thus protecting the tip from the risk of breaking. How to open the clip? Simply by firmly press onto the top of the clip against the body.
Durable, Break Resistant Lead
Equipped with Pentel’s Super Hi-Polymer lead, this pencil offers the same reliability as a traditional wood case pencil. It is designed to be scanned clearly and is resistant to breakage, ensuring your work is always clear and visible.
Also included is the build-in lead hardness indicator, which enables you to keep track of the lead loaded inside the pencil.
The pencils are color-coded, available in 0.3mm, 0.5mm, 0.7mm, and 0.9mm lead sizes.
The barrel accent colors correspond to lead diameters:
- 0.3mm: Brown
- 0.5mm: Gray
- 0.7mm: Blue
- 0.9mm: Yellow
The pencils are prefilled with a Pentel Super Hi-Polymer HB lead and Z2-1 eraser. Lead refills are available here.
